Our school came alive with patriotic fervor as we celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The event began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony, where our esteemed chief guest,Mr Vishal Kamboj and Director ma'am,Ms Akshi Kamboj were gracefully escorted by the Student Council.
The celebration continued with a special assembly that featured a series of inspiring performances by our talented students. Our Vice Principal addressed the gathering, reminding us all of the true meaning of freedom and the responsibilities that come with it. Highlights of the assembly included
an impactful speech by our Head Boy, a soul-stirring patriotic group song, a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak on the question "What is Freedom?", Role plays depicting the lives and struggles of our freedom fighters, Heartfelt patriotic poems and an energetic dance performance on patriotic songs. The assembly concluded with the entire school joining in to sing the National Anthem, followed by the distribution of sweets to all students.
In addition to the assembly, our students also participated in various competitions centered around the patriotic theme. Classes 4 & 5 created beautiful cards for our brave soldiers, classes 6-8 showcased their culinary skills by preparing tricolor dishes, and classes 9-12 designed posters and pamphlets to raise awareness about civic responsibilities & rights.
It was a day filled with pride, joy, and reflection, as we honored our freedom and those who fought to achieve it.
